Still making me laugh....

Jake comes up with something new every day! I've found the toilet paper roll like this a few times now, and I can just imagine Jake laughing to himself as he's doing this. We are the only two people in this house and our bathroom is anything but posh so who is he trying to impress? But oh my, how fancy this makes me feel! Actually, it just makes me laugh which means Jake has succeeded once again.

Screen Savers

As you all know, Jake is a funny guy. He's always doing things to make me laugh. Lately he's been changing the screen saver on our computer when I'm not around. I think he even plots for me to find it when he's not around, because somehow it's more funny that way? So.... sorry if any of these pictures are offensive but these are some of the gems he surprises me with after I get home from a long day at school. Mind you, they are usually tiled across the screen so I see about 12 of the same photo.

King Jake

The other night I was sitting on the couch enjoying a bowl of grapes. Jake looked at me and asked if I would sit next to him, hold the grapes in the air and feed them to him by hand. I just laughed at the idea because it's not like I've ever received that sort of treatment. I continued to watch TV and two minutes later I turn my head to look over at him and this is what I found.... A pulley system! I had left some yarn sitting out so he went and found himself a tack. What a joker!

Sometimes I'll get into bed and forget that I'm still wearing my glasses until I turn onto my side and my face hits the pillow weird. And numberless times I've gotten into the shower with my glasses still on because well, I don't think about my eyesight until I can't see well or until I suddenly need windshield wipers on my eyes. But here's a new one... A few weeks ago I was in such a hurry that I jumped into the shower with my socks still on! I'm trying hard to remember, but now I don't even know what all the hurry was about to begin with!
